For several years the generosity of two people has helped to bring a week of happiness, laughter and sunshine to many children who have unfortunately lost a parent whilst serving in the British Armed Forces.  After seeing The Forces Children’s Trust plight on Noel Edmonds Christmas Presents in 2007, Russell and Deirdre Morgan, founders of The Crown Foundation, contacted the Forces Children’s Trust offering the children (accompanied by their remaining parent) a week long stay at their beautiful villa in the Western Algarve, Portugal.  Following the success of the first holiday in 2008, it has now become a regular occurrence and this haven of fun and laughter has become very special to those children who have been lucky enough to experience it.  Denny Wise(Founder) and the Trustees of the Forces Children’s Trust would like to thank The Crown Foundation for their outstanding generosity and Russell and Deirdre Morgan for all the wonderful memories they have given to the children.

Thanks to Denny and the Forces Children's Trust the girls and I were given the opportunity for a fabulous holiday in Portugal.  An extraordinary couple, Russell and Deirdre,  who first heard about the Forces Children's Trust on the Noel Edmond's Christmas show, were so moved they contacted Denny and decided to open up their luxurious villa and treat the families to an amazing experience.  Denny and the Trust paid for and arranged all the flights and every effort was made by Russell and Deirdre to make sure the children and the mum's had a fun, relaxing and enjoyable time.  If you are given the chance to go to Portugal the girls and I extremely recommend it.  We would like to say a  HUGE thank you to Denny, The Forces Children's Trust and Russell and Deirdre!!!!!
